Worth Auto is an employment-training program in the form of an automotive repair shop for disadvantaged and troubled youth. Many of these youth lack self-worth and have rarely known accomplishment, so Worth Auto teaches them practical and valuable skills while inspiring their sense of identity.
Mechanic Ministry Worker
If you've got your mechanic's license and value the opportunity to mentor youth and could envision your day mentoring young men, not only in your skill set but also in sharing your faith, then Worth Auto might be the next shop you need to visit!
Worth Auto is looking to employ an individual(s) who has the heart to reach young men with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a youth ministry mechanics role. Worth Auto is an employment training program for disadvantaged youth. Worth operates a small automotive shop that hires youth into paid positions, with the goal of teaching them basic employment and life skills to succeed. Through fostering caring relationships, we strive to assist in developing and maturing their whole person mentally, physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

- the desire to help in the transformation of young people's lives and encouraging them to, in turn, transform their community.
- mechanic experience (journeyman ticket desired but not mandatory)
*Ministry Partner Development
Being a Youth Unlimited ministry worker requires Ministry Partner Development (which in short, means that all our ministry staff fundraises their own salary and the majority of this is done prior to the applicant’s date of hire). The successful candidate will have the privilege to build a partnership team, which provides financial and prayer support for the ministry. The financial support will cover the costs of the candidate's salary and ministry expenses. We believe that Ministry Partner Development is biblical and God will provide everything necessary to fulfill the calling into ministry: finances, emotional strength, and perseverance. Building a ministry partnership team is an integral part of being in ministry. There are many opportunities to bless and encourage the partnership team. We are committed to providing training and coaching that assists you in the success of your Ministry Partner Development.
